Find plug-in refrigeration equipment & heat pumps
We’ve partnered with TopTen – a consumer-oriented online search tool – to present a listing of plug-in refrigerators, plug-in freezers, and heat pumps available in Europe. Our key criteria is that products must use natural refrigerants with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) ≤ 3 e.g. R290/propane, R600a/isobutane, or R744/CO2. The product lists will be updated periodically. Select the product category you’re interested in for a list of available appliances.
Refrigeration
The following lists plug-in refrigerators that work between +1°C to +14°C, and plug-in freezers that work below -12°C. Horizontal models open on the top, whereas vertical models open through an inclined opening or from the front. Beverage coolers chill beverages often to 1-5°C; and ice cream freezers are for pre-packaged ice cream, working below -7°C.
Heating
The following lists energy-efficient heat pumps using natural refrigerants. Our list contains air-to-water, water-to-water, and brine-to-water heat pumps for single-family homes and apartment buildings. All have a minimum energy class of A++ for 35°C and 55°C, and all are standard production models.
